How All Saints Can Aid Ukraine

How we at All Saints Church, Deganwy can come to the aid of our brothers and sisters suffering in Ukraine

In this blog we will explain the collective efforts we are making at All Saints Church, Deganwy to support the people in Ukraine. We are all shocked at the daily news stories coming out of Ukraine and the desperate struggle that civilians are facing there. There is now doubt that we all want to help and we will explain how, in our own small way, we can support these people in their hours of need.

On 6 March All Saints Church, Deganwy held its quarterly congregational meeting after the Communion Service at which the prayers focused on the plight of the people of Ukraine. At the meeting there was unanimous support for a motion to donate £500 from church funds to Christian Aid who have launched an appeal in support of refugees fleeing from the war.

We are sure that members of our congregation will also want to support the appeal and so we have left a collection plate at the back of church for donations either cash of cheque (cheques to be made payable to 'All Saints Church Deganwy').

You can also send cheques to our treasurer, Andrew James who's address is Glan Dwr, Maesdu Avenue, Llandudno, Conwy, LL30 1NR, again made payable please to All Saints Church, Deganwy.

Finally, if you would like to contribute by bank transfer, please email Andrew at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and he will provide you with the bank account details.

We will keep you informed of the amounts that we have been able to contribute.

If throughout the land we all try to support in anyway we can the people of Ukraine, then we are sure that we can together make a huge difference. Finally, we should all continue to pray for peace and for the safety of the citizens of Ukraine.

We ask you to support this cause as generously as you are able and we will make sure that the funds are released to Christian Aid as quickly as possible.
